π Student Spotlight: Celebrating Shorelineβs Class of 2026
On June 18, we celebrated and bid a heartfelt farewell to our international student graduates. Β

This fall, many will continue their academic journeys at top universities, including the University of California (Berkeley, Davis, Los Angeles, and San Diego), the University of Pennsylvania, Arizona State University, Rutgers University, Purdue University, Georgia Institute of Technology, and the University of Washington.Β Β Β

π Admissions Updates
- 2025-26 Scholarship Award Data: During the 2025β26 academic year, Shoreline awarded more than $30,000 in scholarships to over 50 hardworking and motivated international students. Scholarship awards of $2,000, $1,000, and $500 were distributed by our scholarship committee, reflecting our commitment to supporting student success.
- Student Application Fees Waived: Until August 31, 2026, we will waive the $50 application fee for all students you refer to Shoreline. This means your students can apply for free during this period. The fee waiver is applied automatically. No code or extra steps are needed!
- Apply for Fall 2026 or Winter 2027: Orientation begins on September 14 for Fall Quarter and December 28 for Winter Quarter. Students can take classes in person, online from their home country, or even take Shoreline classes concurrently while enrolled full-time at another college. π Apply here.
- Apply to be an ACE Scholar: The ACE Scholars Program is a 100% online program for high-achieving high school students in grades 10-12 around the world. Students can begin their U.S. college education early by taking online classes at Shoreline College and strengthen their academic profile for admission to competitive universities. π Learn more here.

- Reminder: Students Under 18 Now Required to Liveβ―onβ―Campus: Last month, we shared that all international students under 18 will be required to live in Shorelineβs on-campus dormitory starting Fall 2026. Students who have special circumstances canβ―request an exception using theβ―On-Campus Housing Exception Form. πβ―Watch a video dorm tour.
- A Warm Welcome to our New Summer Students: On June 22, Shoreline welcomed international students from 16 countries, including Brazil, China, Colombia, Ghana, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Korea, Madagascar, Mongolia, Nepal, Russia, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam!


- Seattle Named a Top 2026 FIFA World Cup Destination: βSeattleβs role as a FIFA World Cup 2026 host city continues to draw international recognition, with over 750,000 fans and visitors between June 15 and June 27,and multiple outlets ranking the city among the top World Cup destinations in North America.β πβ―Read more here.
